After four years of decline, overseas shipments of haulage, gantry and overhead cranes increased by X% to X units in 2021. But overall, exports have fallen sharply. The growth rate was most pronounced in 2016, with a year-on-year increase of X%. As a result, exports peaked at X units. From 2017 to 2021, the growth rate of exports will remain at a low level.

From 2012 to 2021, among the major destination countries, the Philippines (+X%) saw the most significant growth in shipments, while other leaders saw more modest growth rates.
By value, the largest markets for transport and overhead cranes exported from Vietnam were Cambodia (USD X), the United States (USD X), and the Philippines (USD X), which accounted for X% of total exports. The Philippines, with a CAGR of +X%, had the highest growth rate in export value among the top destination countries during the period under review, while the other leading countries experienced more moderate growth in shipments.
Import Scale of Overhead Cranes and Gantry Cranes in Vietnam
In 2021, overseas purchases of transport cranes,
gantry cranes and bridge cranes finally rose to X units after three years of decline. Imports continued to show moderate growth during the period under review. The most significant growth rate occurred in 2014, when imports increased by X% over the previous year. Imports peaked at X units in 2017; however, imports remain low from 2018 to 2021.

In 2021, China (X units) is the largest supplier of transport cranes and overhead cranes in Vietnam, accounting for X% of total imports. In addition, the number of transport cranes and overhead cranes imported from China was four times higher than the number recorded by the second largest supplier, Japan (X units). Third in the ranking is Germany (X units) with an X% share.
From 2012 to 2021, the average annual growth rate of sales from China is +X%. The average annual growth rates of imports for the remaining suppliers are as follows: Japan (+X% per annum) and Germany (+X% per annum).

By value, the largest markets for transport and overhead cranes exported from Vietnam were Cambodia, the United States and the Philippines, which together accounted for 79 percent of total exports.
In 2021, the average export price of transport cranes and overhead cranes will be USD 2,983 per unit, a decrease of -8.7% from the previous year.
In 2021, the average import price of transport cranes and overhead cranes will be USD 2,808 each, a decrease of -29.9% from the previous year.
