Single-speed electric hoist:
Single speed electric hoist refers to a hoist with only one lifting speed, that is, a normal speed. The hoisting speed varies according to the tonnage. The model indicated is the CD1 type.

Double-speed electric hoist:
The representative of the two-speed electric hoist is the MD1 wire rope electric hoist, which has two speeds: normal speed and slow speed. The structure of the main and auxiliary motors achieves two-speed performance.

There is an accelerating small motor next to the main hoisting motor. The main motor is at normal speed, and the auxiliary motor is at slow speed. An independent slow mechanism is composed of the auxiliary motor, the intermediate gear, and the main motor brake disc with gears.
Working principle of double speed hoist:
When the main motor is connected to the power supply, the motor rotor overcomes the pressure of the brake spring and produces axial displacement, disengaging the brake wheel from the brake disc of the slow speed mechanism, the main motor runs normally, and the mechanism rises or descends at a normal speed .
After the power supply is cut off, the brake wheel of the main motor is reconnected with the slow speed mechanism under the action of the brake spring. When the auxiliary motor is connected to the power supply, the auxiliary motor shaft also produces axial displacement, and the auxiliary motor’s brake is opened.
The main motor brake wheel is driven by the reduction gear, the main motor rotates together, and the mechanism rises or falls at a slow speed.
How to choose lifting speed of electric hoist?
In normal use, single-speed wire rope
electric hoist can meet the production needs. If you need to adjust the lifting speed during the lifting process to meet different lifting purposes, you need to cooperate with MD1 wire rope electric hoist, which is divided into slow speed and rapid rise, can achieve uniform speed stability. Double-speed electric hoists are often used in assembly workshops. Slow speed can make the lowering position more accurate and the lifting products more balanced.
