According to the data from Chinese customs, Qatar imported all kinds of cranes from China worth 27.089 million US dollars in 2021, a decrease of 7.85% compared with the total import of 29.398 million US dollars in 2020. From the time line, Qatar’s import data in 2020 and 2021 have experienced an explosive growth. The import volume in July 2020 accounted for 71.79% of the total import volume of the whole year, and the import volume in October 2021 accounted for 63.22% of the total import volume of the whole year. Then we checked the import data of Qatar in 2019. The data showed that Qatar imported a total of 6.607 million US dollars of various cranes in 2019, accounting for 22.47% of the total import in 2020 and 24.38% of the total import in 2021. From this comparison, the market size of Chinese crane products in Qatar should be around us $7million. There is still great uncertainty about the future growth space.
