Brecknell Willis, a member of the Fandstan Electric Group, operates from locations in Somerset, Taiwan and China.
It manufactures conductor rails for rail and light rail transport, as well as industrial current collection and cabling handling systems.
The five
overhead cranes were installed in a short time period, Alpha Lifting Services’ managing director Ray Marks explained.
Marks said: “We put the job together and had all five cranes unloaded, assembled and fitted for the client in less than two days. To have such a swift turnaround with no loss in quality naturally impresses clients and all told, it was a job well done. Alpha has always enjoyed a close working relationship with Verlinde and we continue to supply their products to a variety of clients throughout the south of England.”
Verlinde says that the work with Alpha Lifting Services shows that the UK remains a strong market for the firm. Business development manager for Verlinde, Simon Rothechild, said, “Alpha Lifting Services are a great British company and it is super to see them continuing their success with clients of international standing like Brecknell Willis. Verlinde is delighted to have played its part in this significant contract win and we wish Ray and his team all the best on future projects.”
