Djibouti and China Economic and Trade Relations
From January to October 2021, the bilateral import and export volume of goods between China and Djibouti was US$2,208.46 million, an increase of US$352.4874 million compared with the same period in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 19.2%.
From January to October 2021, the total value of goods exported by China to Djibouti was US$2,164.634 million, an increase of US$343.584 million compared with the same period in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 19.1%; the total value of goods imported by China from Djibouti was US$43.8214 million, compared with 2020. During the same period, it increased by $8.9034 million, a year-on-year increase of 25.5%.
From January to December 2020, the bilateral trade volume between China and Djibouti was US$2.354 billion, a year-on-year increase of 5.8%. Among them, China’s export was 2.308 billion US dollars, an increase of 4.6%, and its import was 46 million US dollars, an increase of 130.7%.
