Month-to-month comparison of crane imports in 2020 and 2021
Data from China Customs shows that the
UAE imported various types of crane equipment from China worth US$58.061 million in 2021, a decrease of 16% from the total import value of US$69.137 million in 2020. This is not good news for Chinese crane suppliers. The reasons for the shrinking of the UAE crane market cannot be determined for the time being. According to statistics from the Ministry of Commerce of China, the bilateral import and export volume of goods between China and the UAE in 2021 will be US$72,361.74 million, an increase of US$23,185.4913 million compared with the same period in 2020, a year-on-year increase of 46.6%.
